Nickel Silver is a copper alloy and is named for its silvery appearance.
Nickel silver is known for being among the least corrosive metals in the range. It will corrode but at a much slower rate than the brown and gold copper alloys. Nickel silver can be deliberately patinated to obtain special effects.
Despite its name nickel silver does not contain any elemental silver.

It is important to remember applications and finishing are all done by hand so each piece is individually crafted and no two craftspeople will produce an identical finish. This is one of the beauties of the coatings.
The look and feel of solid nickel can be achieved on cost-effective substrates such as MDF. If you need strength, then the nickel finish on steel may be a suitable alternative. Both are viable options with our Metalier Liquid Coatings.
